Unable to fully power off & charging dock problems

So I've had a few things go wrong with my phone in the last 48 hours.

1.) The charging dock stopped working. The phone shows that is charging, but it doesn't actually add an to the battery and the battery does die down.

2.) Same problem with the 2 aftermarket magnetic charging cables I just bought. When these charging cables are plugged in through the wall it shows it's charging but doesn't actually charge (similar to above). When plugged in through a PC it doesn't even register that it's charging (suspect that's because not enough juice coming from the PC USB port)

Charging by USB works fine.

3.) I can't fully power off the phone. When I shut down it says powering off, but then I get a flashing Sony Logo that appears. I'm able to restart the phone by holding the power button down for a protracted period of time. See the video for what I'm talking about.

Any thoughts/ideas? I think I'll x-post to the Z1 forum since this might be something people there have experienced.
