Unable to log in to email on Huawei p9 lite

I can't log in to my hotmail account on my huawei, the error message says something about the POP3 or something not being set up but I can't find anything on my settings to enable that.

Welcome to Android Central! Try opening the email account, go to its settings, select the Hotmail account, and remove it. Then go through the process of adding it back again.
