Android Central Question
Though the Galaxy S phones are listed as compatible on the Signia website, the only way I can get the app to work is to activate the UHQ setting by plugging in headphones...
Though I can go to Settings->Device Maintenance->Performance Mode
->Entertainment and turn on the UHQ Upscaler, this does not do
the trick.
When I go to Settings -> Sounds and Vibration->Advanced->Sound
Quality and Effects -> UHQ Upscaler is grayed out when
Performance Mode (above) is on.
When Performance mode is Normal, the Upscaler can be turned on in
Sound and Effects only when the earbuds are plugged in.
On the Galaxy S7, I found a workaround to this issue, but there
doesn't seem to be one on the S8.
Is there a way to keep the UHQ app ON without plugging in headphones?
Thanks for any help!
