Unable to zoom much on social media photos

When using Facebook I can only zoom in a tiny bit. My iPhone would zoom into photos a great deal. I'm a amateur photographer so I like to zoom into others HD photos looking at detail. My s8 just doesn't do it.

Any ideas what I can do

In my experience, photos posted to Facebook are automatically downsized and aren't worth zooming in too much. Sounds like a difference between iPhone and Android apps. With the much higher res screen On the S8, perhaps with most photos you're already seeing full res at default. So therefore there is no zoom. But that's just me speculating.
