Uncontrollable clearance delay.

Ordered a oneplus 3 and it only shipped last night. Today it says uncontrollable clearance delay in the DHL website. Has anyone encountered this while ordering from oneplus, and if so what happened and how long did it take to clear the delay?

Hey, I just ordered a Oneplus 3 and had the same problem. I'm guessing it has something to do with clearing customs in China. How was your issue resolved?

Hasn't been resolved. Still stuck in customs. Oneplus says they've escalated it to their "Logistics partner", whatever that means. It could take 24 hours just to hear from them. They gave me NO time frame to actually get it resolved, other than to state that I should still get it within the delivery window.

If that's true fine, but if it's not...I don't even know.

It cleared the delay in the middle of the night. I have no idea what went wrong but it's still in China going through customs in Hong Kong now. Hopefully no more delays, even though it wasn't much of one. Could have been worse.
