So for starters I would like to give you all some background of what I am coming from. I have used just about every flagship over the last 2 years ranging from the S7 edge, Moto X pure, LG G4, Galaxy Note 5, HTC m9, Nexus 6p, *ONE plus 2, iphone 6s and a few extras. So needless to say I have a good idea of what other phones are offering. Having said all of that I must add that this phone is something special. (I use a phone till I get bored with it and then buy a newish used one and sell the other).

I flat out love this phone and plan on keeping it till the note 6 comes out.* I know what you are all are thinking that is not very long. Well for me it is considering that the longest I have held a phone for is 1.5 months. I know I have major problems.

For starters this phone is getting a lot of un fair flack about the build quality. I love the feel in my hand and let’s be honest much like a good portion of the population I use a case and have found no flaw. (Poetic is by far the best on this phone).

Getting the battery out is not hard and I never feel like I am going to break it. On the topic of battery life I must say that I am very pleased with the overall performance. It is not GS7 edge good but better than the other phones I listed.* I know that some of you will disagree and I completely agree that this is based solely on my usage.* In full disclosure I always turn off location settings and I disabled the always on display because I have this paired to my pebble time.

Moving on to performance I have not had one hiccup in the nearly 3 weeks of ownership and have been nothing but pleased. When I initially set up the phone it did get pretty warn but It has not done that since.

The camera is amazing. I think it is the best one I have used. Again this is my opinion and other people will disagree.* The wide angle lens is really fun to play with. When I first got the phone I thought I would never use this feature but I find myself using it all the time and showing off the pictures. I have two kids and I have managed to get some pretty good shots of them running and jumping with no blur whatsoever.

Speaker is very loud. Not a whole lot of base but pretty darn good for a single firing speaking. I do miss the nexus 6p and moto x pure speakers but I am happy to trade these in for the removable battery.

*Moving on this main reason I love this phone so much is for the removable battery.* My job sometimes requires me to work 18 hour shifts and I very rarely have a chance to be near an outlet. This meant that I had to carry a battery pack with me and plug the phone in and use it with the cord hanging out.* We can all agree that while this method works it is kind of a pain in the butt.* I love being able to simply pop in a new battery and go from 5% to 100% in under a minute.** I also like the method in slamming the battery back into the phone. I did 5 years in the marines and it kind of reminds me of slamming a magazine into the rifle.

Well I hope this helped one person out there. I love the phone and I wish that it got some better press.**

Thank you I didn't know I have a twin brother out there ☺ I too have come from just about every major phone ..I switched from the moto x pure ( miss them speakers ) to the G5 and even though I thought I wouldn't be able to be without the active display I found the G5 always on feature even better.. S7 Edge always on is way too bright at night and not very useful for my usage...Battery life is better than the Moto X .

Thank you for sharing your review, awesome.

Doesn't really matter for how long you'll gonna use this handset... Enjoy
