UnEVOked and uninstalling Apps

Looked through a lot of threads and couldn't find a clear answer even though their are a lot of detailed instructions.

I had a Sprint Hero that I rooted and installed custom ROMs on before so I am familiar with the processes to an extent.

I now have an EVO that I am looking to remove some of the bloatware on it. I am not interested in permanently rooting at this time so my question is can I use unEVOked to uninstall the stuff I don't want and not have to permanently root?
