Hi,
I have seen a previous thread on this but it is outdated and it has not addressed my version.

Basically, my NFC is half-broken. I can receive files but I cannot send them. I received a contact from a family members phone, but I cannot send a contact. I have used NFC before and it worked perfectly. It is NOT a problem with the other phone, I have tried it on another. I have deleted cache portion (power off, Hold power, volume +, home button) but this has not fixed the problem.

I honestly do not want to factory reset at all, I have not reset this device so far and am hoping to keep all of my apps and game files.

Device: Samsung galaxy s6
Network: EE
Version: 6.0.1

EDIT:. Going into SafeMode does not allow NFC either, so I know that a 3rd party app is not interfering here.

Going to bump this...

The reason why I do not want to factory reset is actually because of android pay. I have had to add the card twice and had to verify by calling my bank. It was very stressful and very time consuming.

Will Android pay still work with this half broken NFC?
