Uninstalling a 3rd Party App

My droidx is running android 2.3.3 with system version 4.5.605. Before being updated to gingerbread, my phone was rooted using zroot.

I am having an issue uninstalling a 3rd party email app ExMailFree developed by AECorp. Every time I try to uninstall this app, I receive the "Uninstall was unsuccessful." I've tried a few other uninstallers found on the market that didn't work.

Any ideas? I unsuccessfully tried to root my phone last night using MotoOneClickRoot, but found out that it wasn't rooted when I tried to run Titanium Backup and received the error message that my X wasn't rooted.

Any ideas on how to uninstall this app will be appreciated.

Try this:
Go into Settings, Location & Security Settings, and look for Select Device Administrators. See if the app you are trying to uninstall is listed there. If so, uncheck it, then try uninstalling the app again.
