OK guys, here's a question for you...I could go on and on about all the Sammy smartwatches I have had but I'll cut to the chase.
I am waiting for the Galaxy Watch AT&T version to come out this fall, and in the meantime I just picked up another Gear S3 LTE. For my use, I want to control when it uses LTE. For example, if I leave the watch at home (or walk out of bluetooth range) I don't want it trying to connect to LTE. Essentially, I would like to turn on LTE manually only when I want it.
Am I better off simply selecting "Bluetooth only/Network OFF", or using airplane mode with just Bluetooth?
In a nutshell, I'd like to get the battery life of the "bluetooth only" Gear S3, but not loose the LTE feature if I want to manually turn it on.
As another option, am I better off connecting it to WIFI when I am at home or keep walking out of Bluetooth range? That way if I leave the watch home it won't connect to LTE?
