Unit won't power up

Looking for some help. I have a transformer that is a week and a half old. The unit is running Honeycomb 3.1.

The unit had been working but now will not power up. I have the keyboard docking station and both it and the tablet are fully charged. Has anyone else had a similar experience or any suggestions as to how to correct this.

Are you sure that they're charged? The reason i ask is because the charger is often a problem with this device. When you connect the charger to the dock does the LED come on? If not its the charger. Pull the front piece off, make sure the pins are straight and slide it back on. This always fixes mine.

Are you sure that the tab is charged? Get the tab by itself and push the power and hold it for about 20 or more seconds. It should turn on.

I just want to say THANK YOU!!! I'm a relatively new gtab owner and as I was on lunch today I updated my kindle store app then machine restarted self and got stuck in an endless loop on the restart. Had to power down and then would not turn back on to save my life! After reading this post I just tried holding the power button down for longer than 10 seconds and at about 15 seconds it powered back up and is now seemingly "good as new!" You guys ROCK!
