I've had this phone for 22 days and have already been having a lot more problems with this then my s4 mini. But one problem is there is a setting in about device that says "United Arab Emirates". I live in the UK and use my phone in the UK. Is this going to be a problem I need to contact Samsung about? ? Will this effect my phones warranty and performance?

Your Samsung Galaxy S5 model,
G900F, is running United Arab Emirates firmware,
OEC, for Product code
XSG. There have been 2 further updates since that release. Under normal circumstances, it does not matter where you are in the world or which carrier you are with as it is Samsung that issue the updates.
For reasons that your phone has not been updated, see

Did you receive this phone, new, direct from a U.K. carrier or get it off of the web?
Check your Product code in Phone Info as per
#1.8 of the above, Dummies Guide.
Try connecting your phone to either of the Samsung PC suites, Kies or Smart Switch, to see if it offers you the latest update.
If the above fails, you can download the latest stock Samsung firmware for the U.A.E, below, and flash it to your phone by carefully following the instructions and video in the links of
