Seems like im missing something. There defintely should be a way to add Gmail to the universal inbox, but i just cant figure out how! Its driving me nuts! Anyone know how to get gmail in there?

The default Gmail account on the phone will not go into the universal inbox, for some bizarre reason. You have to create a new email account. Go to "email", and simply create a new Gmail account using the same info as in your other Gmail account.

I think it's pretty much universal that Gmail is a separate entity on Android devices. I didn't know you could manually add it to the universal inbox, and I'm not sure I'd do it (does it add yet another service to update in the background?), so that's a plus.

I think it's all defined by how specific the features are with Gmail. Kind of a bummer overall, but what can you do?

Why can't you search in the Universal box? Webos implementation of this was much nicer...
