universal remote for Android

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and would like to buy a universal remote for Android that I can plug into the Note 2 like the Irdroid™ or Zmart Remote . Anyone ever used one of these or other devices?

Control your tv and sound system. I remember seeing something that plugged into the headphone jack that provided an IR emitter. Personally I am using the Beacon Bluetooth to IR remote from Griffin and like it quite well. The app that is used with the hardware device is called Dijit and is available in the Play Store if you want to take a look at it
