Unlikely to receive updates

I saw this yesterday in Amazon Discussions about this tablet:

It talks about how our esteemed tablet is unlikely to receive any major updates.

Not entirely sure that's true... My Tab S is still receiving updates (two in less than a couple of months!) and sure, it's not Marshmallow yet, but at least it's being updated. I've seen reports from the Note 10.1 2014 still being updated, too!

Seeing how the Pro update is so long overdue, I'm not holding my breath, and looking hard at Cyanogenmod.
