unlimited data?

I just my inspire a few days ago and I am a bit confused, looking around seeing that some people have an unlimited data plan and I currently have the 2gb cap.. can somebody give me the scoop? are they gonna offer an unlimited package for this phone or no? sorry if this has been posted before but I can't find it other than people talking about having it or not.

No prob. There is a rumor that they might bring back the unlimited plans. Don't know though.

Supposedly AT&T will offer you the unlimited plan if you threaten to go over to Big Red. It was posted on Engadget a week or so ago. If you already were grandfathered into unlimited plan then you get to keep it.

I had the unlimited plan, but we switched to go phones for a few months to save some money, and we dropped down our data plans not knowing we couldn't go back I miss it.

I just moved over from my iphone to the inspire this week and they let me transfer over my unlimited data plan for the same price and I did it all online.

I think you get to keep that unlimited plan until you remove it from your plan, once you do then it's gone for good.

Has anyone tried this? Long story but we just upgraded 3 of our 4 lines to Inspires after reversing a port to T-mobile....so the willingness to leave should be apparent to them. Should I just threaten to leave for the Verizon/Thunderbolt and see what they offer???
