unlock my galaxy s3

hi everyone i have galaxy s3 4.1.1 model SGH-T999 and i got it from a friend from usa.It dosent work in Grecce because it's network locked.Is there a way to unlock it?

The carrier would have to be contacted to unlock it. However, the last I knew, the device once unlocked, would probably not get 3G or LTE.
