unlock your phone to get notifications after reboot

Is there any way to have a working phone on a restart without having to unlock it?
This is the 1st phone that I've not been able to restart and have a "working" phone until I unlock it.

I was driving in my car the other day and I had to restart my phone and I was using Android Auto so after I restarted my phone it would not reconnect to Android Auto until I unlocked it which was dangerous as I was driving at the time. It took me a few minutes to remember this and I was trying to re-seat my USB cables, and I even restarted my car at a red light before remembering that I had to unlock my phone for it to connect to Android Auto.

I'd love to be able to turn this "feature" off.

This is for the S20, but I'm guessing it applies to the Note20 as well: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5...-Start-or-Secure-Boot-on-the-S20/td-p/1134875. You'd probably have to turn off password/PIN/pattern completely.

Probably late but, disable strong protection in your biometric security settings. Go to biometrics and security>> other security settings>> scroll down and turn off strong protection
