Unlocked AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 wifi update

I have an unlocked Galaxy S4. Every now and then I get a screen that says to update software from AT&T. I generally let it get to update but since it is actually on Straight Talk it fails.

Recently I started getting a different screen (attached) and it says I need to connect to wifi. I am connected to wifi so I am confused as to why it doesn't work. It seems like it may need to be on an AT&T wifi hotspot but I am not sure. In any case I would prefer not to get these update notifications at all. Is there any way to stop these?

Straight Talk doesn't do updates. You'll have to find a captured update file ( AT&T, Canadian Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin Samsung Galaxy S 4 - XDA Forums ) and update it manually, following the instructions on whatever thread you find.

Is there any way I can just stop getting the update notifications altogether or will I eventually need them?
