Unlocked Gear S

I have a couple questions....I'm on the Sprint network does a unlocked gear s work on that network and also I have a unlimited data plan will it work on that network with my phone being in my locker at work or do I need to be on WiFi network. Just wondering before I buy one

I think only the Verizon Gear S Unlocked will work as long as the ESN is clean.

A T-Mobile or AT&T version will not work. Sprint/Verizon are on CDMA and the other 2 are on GSM. Not compatible.

They do have a Sprint version out there, so you can try and get one of those.

As long as the device is active on a cellular network, if you leave the phone in your locker and have your watch, calls/text messages will forward to the watch, so you won't miss anything.

I tried unsuccessfully to get the AT&T Gear S to work on T-Mobile and it was a no go. The wearables smartwatch plan on T-Mob would not work with the AT&T watch. So good luck with whatever you decide to do. I have a T-Mob Gear S on T-Mob now and it works flawless with the S4.

I don't know why you couldn't get the unlocked AT&T version to work on Tmobile because I know it does work and has been done before
