I'm looking for a tablet that can take handwritten notes, draw, annotate ebooks, etc. Ideally 8"+ since anything smaller is difficult to hand write on.
I also need the tablet to be unlockable, rootable, and can take SIM cards for international travel. There have been many times my old 2013 Nexus 7 has saved the day with its SIM card capabilities when my primary phone has died.
I'm really lost when it comes to all the different versions and variants of the Tab and Note series of tablets. Which models should I be considering if I want to have a tablet that can be used around the world on GSM with good handwriting functionality? The GSM Tab S3 is too expensive at $800.
Maybe the Tab A 10.1 P585M? Or the Note SM-P607T?
