Unlocked HTC Inspire 4G with T-Mobile Sim Not Receiving Incoming Calls

I have an unlocked HTC Inspire 4G with a prepaid T-Mobile simcard. I am having problems with incoming calls and sometimes outgoing calls. I tried calling my cellphone with other phones. A landline phone rang multiple times then went to voice mail and the Inspire 4G didn't receive an incoming call and no missed calls were displayed. This happened multiple times. Once in a while, the call goes through and usually the Inspire 4G will have the incoming call come through in 3-4 rings. Outgoing calls have issues as well. Sometimes they go through and sometimes I get "call failed."

I tried calling with another cell phone with different results. At first the disconnected phone sound occurred. Then the phone went straight to message. Finally the call went through.

I have tested the same simcard with a T-Mobile branded phone and was always able to receive and make calls. I am able to receive sms and mms with the Inspire 4G. Can someone please tell me why I am having issues with calls. It is an AT&T branded phone but is unlocked and the T-Mobile service is recognized.

You have to change your APN settings to that of T-Mobile.

My APN setting have already been configured because previously I was unable to send MMS. After doing research, I found settings that worked for me which are already applied.

There has to be another reason for the strange calls behavior.

I have changed my APN settings as mentioned in the post. It seems like the landline phone always responds to incoming and outgoing calls. However, calling from another cellphone is causing issues. When calling another cellphone, the Inspire 4G automatically says "Call ended." or sometimes goes to voice mail.

This might be APN related. And I'm not sure where I can find settings that fully work.
