Unlocked HTC ONE on ATT .. 4G/LTE.. I do not show that icon

I have a developer edition and have used it on both AT&T and T-Mobile, and this is perfectly normal behavior for the non-carrier variants of the One. On the unlocked/dev edition Ones, here's how the signal icons should read from least to greatest signal speed:

X (no signal)
G (no data)
E (EDGE, 2G data)
3G
H (HSPA(+), considered "4G" on most carriers)
LTE

You won't get any of the carrier-specific 4G LTE icons because none of the carrier software is on the phone, just the "stock" ones. If you're showing LTE above the two arrows next to the signal bars, you're getting the same LTE as the carrier-branded Ones from whichever carrier you're using.

The software has all the same icons included, Depending on the phones cid determines what icon is shown. Each carrier uses a different cid

Benny - Could you provide any more info on this? I have an ATT branded One and I'm in the process of doing some status bar mods. I'm trying to move the icons in the signal cluster into a different order, but when using the ATT data icons, it's not using the signal_cluster_view.xml layout that the other icons use...it appears to be laid out in .smali, and .smali hurts my head. I, too, believed that (at least since 4.3), these icons were being controlled/called upon by CID, so in an attempt to get the Generic HTC icons, I s-offed and started playing with CID. No matter what my CID is (ATT, WWE, DE, Telus, Super), I still get ATT icons. I used to be able to change these icons by simply toggling a project flag in ext.jar, but since 4.3 (maybe 4.2.2) this doesn't work. I can't imagine that the modelid (MID) would have anything to do with it, since so many regions/models share MID

Edit: eh the more i think about it I guess it could be MID (or more likely a combo of MID/CID). I'm gonna go ahead and flash an ENG bootloader and change the MID to see what results I get.

Edit 2: Nope - even with different MID and CID it still shows them the same.

Edit 3: whoa...I was making this way more difficult than it actually is... In /system/customize/acc/default.xml, change the sku_id -
7 is ATT
11 is tmo
42 is the wwe one (401 bases) etc. for the generic HTC icons
..still having issues changing the order of the icons in signal_cluster_view though..

I brought a GSM unlocked S5 to Sraight Talk, after many issues w the SIM cards I had to use the AT&T (GSM) instead of the Verizon (CDMA) and my phone doesn't have the icon 4G LTE anymore, just an H. Does that mean I'm not getting 4G LTE? I also can't access my voicemail or get/send picture messages. I'm totally regretting leaving Verizon for this generic service. I have a phone that has all these bells and whistles and I can only use the bell!! Someone help!
