I'm a new user, but I need help. I saved up to purchase an unlocked HTC One X for my fiance to use in Cambodia (the 4G will help us Skype and call each other when we're long distance
)
However, it won't let us activate the portable wifi hotspot or share the internet with his laptop. We are immensely perplexed because several of his friends with smartphones are using the same SIM card (metfone) and it lets them share wifi with whomever they want. Any ideas? The internet itself is very fast on his phone, but it is frustrating not to be able to use it with our other devices.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
