Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace my Nexus 6P with the Note 8, but I have a few questions. I hear that the Snapdragon version isn't as good as the Exynos in terms of overall performance and battery life. Also, I hear that the International version of the phone has a better DAC.

Is anyone here using an Exynos variant Note 8 in the US, specifically on T-Mobile? Can you share your experience with using the phone, in terms of battery life (SOT and stand by time)? Are there any issues with connecting or dropping calls? How is the FPS in terms of accuracy (despite its location, which I hate)? Has there been any degradation in speed or performance?

I was all set to get the Pixel 2 XL, but given how Google seriously dropped the ball with the crap screen, not to mention all the other issues it has, I've soured on them, and I refuse to pay top dollar for a sub par product. At least Samsung justifies their prices by giving you every feature imaginable. Whether you need them or not, it's nice to know it's there if you need it.

The way I see it, the choices for my next phone are between the Note 8 and the S9+, depending on its battery size, and stereo speakers, which next year's phones are rumored to have. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Note 8 will still be superior to S9+ and same price or cheaper, yes exynos seems to be slightly better but it is only small margens, don't know what's best on t-mobile as I live in Europe but I think you are wasting time and money considering waiting for the S9 instead of just going for the Note8 now

I'm very tempted by the Note 8, it's a great phone. I just want to be sure I'm getting the best phone, because I will be keeping it for 2 or 3 years. Battery life and audio is very important to me, and the Note 8 battery is smaller than my Nexus 6P. I see lots of people saying the Note 8 battery life sucks, so I want to be sure before I buy.
