Amid my last excursion in the usa. I got att s8 which I utilized all through my multi month remain.

after returning to nigeria, I needed to open to utilize locally.

up till now I have not gotten oreo refresh - g950usqu2bqk5-.

so I intend to download another oreo att variation on sammobile. question is after I streak by means of odin, will I be required to re-open to proceed with utilize?

1. Don't flash a different variant ROM - you could brick the phone. Use the 'A' variant.

2. SIM locking has nothing to do with the ROM. If you flash the right ROM, the phone will still be unlocked.

From what I've read online buying a phone in the US and taking to another country never really ends well, the firmware on a US device won't work well in other countries, like you won't be able to get VoLTE. You need to get the phone flashed with your providers firmwave which is apparently where the problem lies, getting your provider to flash your device.
