Unlocked Samsung S6

I was in Bestbuy today looking at the AT&T S6 (in the Samsung section) and happened to ask about an unlocked version. I was surprised when I was told that there was a 64Gb version available for about $35 less than the AT&T version. I've seen unlocked versions on Amazon but most of those are international versions.

Does anyone here have experience with these and is there anything I loose by buying one? I assume that it will get updated more quickly as it'll bypass the carrier?

Definitely opt for unlocked option. It'll hold its resale value later on... assuming you don't drop it

Are they selling unlocked international phone, or is this a AT&T branded phone that's just unlocked?

Not an AT&T unlocked, truly an unlocked phone.
