Unlocked V20 - No wifi calling for T-Mobile

So I received my unlocked V20 from B&H today. Like it very much, but I noticed there isn't wifi calling on it. I stuck my T-Mobile sim into it, got it all setup, etc. But no wifi calling. Does this mean that the only way I can have wifi calling through T-Mobile is if I buy it from T-Mobile? Is there any way to "get" wifi feature onto the unlocked variant at all? It isn't even an option under the settings at all.

I know another poster also said that her unlocked did not have wifi calling for Verizon as well.

FWIW, my spouse has wifi calling enabled on the T-Mobile V20.

I don't believe so. I don't think LG included it in the unlocked version of the V20.
