Unlocked Version Scratching Also?

I am looking at getting a new unlocked phone. The Galaxy s7 in silver is on my list along with a couple others. My main concern is all the talk, and images, showing excessive scratching on the front screen, back glass, and the fingerprint reader.
Does anyone know for sure if the unlocked versions are having the same problem? Or are these coming from a different batch that has this issue resolved? Any help is truly appreciated.

I haven't seen any problems with scratching on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy s7 edge. Of course, it is glass so glass so it can scratch if sand or diamond or various other hard materials come in contact with it

Where do people hear about all these problems? I don't use screen protector on any of my phones from last few years, never had any issues with scratches etc. Obviously I'll use some common sense and not put my phone in the same pocket where there are keys and other objects that can scratch the screen.
