Unlocked ZMax Pro

I just picked up a MetroPCS Zmax Pro yesterday and had it unlocked via a site on eBay. It took them about 12 hours to get it done but I am now using the phone on Cricket and it works great with the AT&T service. Just figured I would let those know out there that were interested in the phone and wanted to know if it can be unlocked. I paid $4.23 to have it unlocked via the unlock app and it went pretty smooth.

So far the phone has run pretty smooth very little lag when doing more than one thing. I am not a gamer so I can't speak on that. It runs all my apps smoothly, the only issue I have so far is getting Now on Tap to work.

That's a smart move. Good for you. Metro pcs pulls a bunch of stunts I don't like. Must say I never once in two years had a call drop or fuzz out. No issues. They run on the t mobile system. It's good. The metro stores and the bs people running things are not proper. Time to try cricket. That unlocking costs about 25 or 40 bucks I think.

Nook. Not me. Good solid performer for last 30 days. Should stay as such. There's issues in all devices but you send it back. I see a bunch of happy zpro owners...

Good to see that you're not having any issues, but if you read through that thread, it seems like more than just a few buggy devices. There are quite few different users on that thread, and it was also noted in a video review of the phone. There's some suspicion that it might be a software/firmware issue.

Would you happen to remember the ebay site (name..) that unlock your zmax pro? I need it to unlock mine too. Just got the phone today. Thanks
