Unlocking a Rogers HTC EVO 3D?

I have an HTC EVO 3D that's currently locked to Rogers and I'd like to unlock it to use on another carrier. What's the best way to do this? I could pay Rogers $50 to do it, but I've looked around online and found sites that claim to be able to unlock the phone for cheaper. If this is the way to go what's the best site to use?
