Unlocking Droid Pro for T-mobile

hello, i am a blackberry user who is seriously thinking about converting to android.

i have a friend who has a droid pro and is wlling to sell me the device.

ive been researching on how to unlock a android phone and if they will be able to work on other carriers

i understand the droid pro is having a problem with working at&t/tmobile [i have a tmo plan] but the threads i see are old, dated back in 2010 [oct/nov]

i want to know if there is any news of it working now since we are in 2011?

It still is heavily locked so it doesn't work on any other U.S. GSM carrier.

TMO has good android phones though. Try the mytouch 4G or if you really want a keyboard the TMO G2.
