Unlocking / Removing SIM lock with T-mobile

Just got my Gear S and I'm on the phone with T-mo, who are telling me that it can take up to 14 days to unlock it. They say that's because they send the request to Samsung. I call BS on that (but let me know if I'm wrong).
Has anyone gotten a different response for them?

i just went through this with unlocking my T-Mobile Galaxy S4. Asked for a code Friday night, said it would take 24-48hrs, but up to 14 days, same thing about getting the code from Samsung. They emailed me my unlock code the next afternoon around 5pm. hope this helps.
