Hi, just picked me up a brand new in the box galaxy S5 off Craig's. It was suppose to be for verizon as that what the seller told me an it was on the unopened sticker on the box. Turned it on with my verizon SIM card, can't make any calls. Says "not registered on network" so I check the imei number worried that the phone might have been black listed and it came back clean. Which I thought it would. Put it in the Verizon website, they cant find the device. Call customer service, was if no help. So I check the networks it's wcdma/gsm. And I only see AT&T and t mobile pop up. So I put a friends AT&T sim in phone works calls etc fine. So what can I do for this to work on my Verizon account? Does them unlocking codes you buy really work for 20-40 bucks? I seen when you enter the wrong sim it will appear on you screen. My sim in the phone doesn't say anything that's it's the wrongs sim. I'm lost. Spent hrs researching yesterday pretty lost on what to do. Any info is appreciated!
