unofficial official LG wireless charging

My quick review of this back since I just got it.

Feel is exactly the same as the stock in terms of material. Same exact silicone based rubbery feel. It is less than a mm thicker, but I actually like it as it gives a tad more grip along the edges where you hold it IMO, and also makes it ever so slightly less flat so it fits your palm a bit better too.

Wireless charging is great, using my old Nokia DT-900 charger (from an old Lumia 920) it has no issues and charges fairly quick with only the slightest warming on the back. Of course wall AC charging is noticeably faster, but it isn't painfully slow or anything by any means. More than met my expectations.

In short, it seems like the real deal from LG, and everything about it feels and works great. If you want wireless charging on your V10 now, I highly recommend grabbing one, otherwise if you feel like waiting for a more reputable retailer to sell them, that's understandable too. =)

I would definitely agree with this

I bought one and it's not working with my Spigen Qi Charging base. HELP!

One OT question

Which is faulty, the wireless receiver or wireless charger if charging stops at 71% and does not reach 100%?
In other words which one decides when charging should stop

I emailed LG customer support asking when the wireless charging back would be released. I received this in response:

Dear Mike,

Thank you for contacting LG Mobile Communications.

We sincerely regret any difficulty you may have encountered regard the accessories (particularly the Wireless Case) for your LG V10 mobile phone. I do recognize the inconvenience this is causing and please accept our apology for the trouble or inconvenience you have experienced.

In response to this concern, I’m afraid the item is indeed not yet carried in LG USA’s Part Sales department or in the online shop. However, it has already been confirmed by our Marketing Unit that the one posted in Amazon is a genuine LG case for the V10. This may be found on this link:*Robot Check

Once again, I’m sorry for any trouble this may have caused and thank you very much for your patience and understanding on this.

I hope this information has been helpful in addressing your concern. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us again via Email, Live Chat, or Phone by calling*800-793-8896. You will also see a short survey at the bottom of this email to rate your experience today which will help us know how we’re doing in providing our valued customers excellent service.

Thank you for choosing LG and have a wonderful day!

My wireless charging back works like a champ. No problems seen at all.

How fast is it compared to the normal wired charger (not quick change 2)?
Is it's output current 1A or less?

I went with.. Works great

I just got one of these as well and it works...but I have to put something at the bottom edge of the stand to sit it higher on the pad for it to engage properly. When it's resting on the built-in lip at the bottom it seems to be on a fringe spot where it cuts in and out of charging. If I slide it up 1/4 to 1/2" it works perfect.

Mine is working fine.. Even with the case on. Are you using a 2 amp charger?

No case, 2.4A charger. It works fine, but I have to elevate it about 1/2" from the bottom tray to engage it fully, otherwise it cuts in and out like it's on the fringe, range wise.
