Unofficial price leak?

T-Mobile USA is having a contest where they are giving away an S5 and a flip cover each week for the next five weeks.

I pulled up the official rules and it shows the Approximate Retail Value of the prize to be $668.99. I'd guess that puts the phone at about $630 (without the cover).

Good catch. I think it'll be a lot closer to high 5's or right at 6. But that is very close to what we'll probably see. Samsung is likely already in talks with carriers about pricing and may have been for some time.

Samsung stated it would be lower priced than any Galaxy S before it, and by all accounts, sure it is by about $30. Not exactly what I would consider enough to make that boast.
