Last week I bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus and it was working fine. Last night I turned my phone off and it was still working, but upon turning it on again (about an hour later) I was met with an unresponsive touchscreen. I tried swiping it to unlock it and it wasn't working, so I decided to try and turn the phone off, I could access the 'Phone Options' menu but, of course, couldn't select the 'Power Off' button because the touchscreen is having issues, although their is no colour/image distortion whatsoever. All the other buttons and such are working (Off, Screen-cap etc.) But I simply cannot get the touchscreen working again. My poor phone has been in this unfortunate state for several hours and I cannot seem to fix it. I have only owned the phone for a little over a week and taken exceptional care with it, and cannot think of any obvious reasons for it to act up. I never pull it off before it's charged, I never, ever drop or mishandle the phone and haven't cluttered it with apps. PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY PHONE!!! -You will be rewarded with imaginary waffles.
Thank you in advance.
(As a side-note I will try leaving well away from the phone for a while and also let the battery run down).
