Unresponsiveness at Times

I noticed recently that after waking up my S3, touching the screen provides no response. I check my tasks and I am not really running anything. It could be a background app of course.
It takes a long press of the menu button to get it back to normal.

Of course this isn't always the case.It works normally most of the time.

Anyone else notice some occasional lag?
