I am currently on .602 that I loaded as an SBF and rooted via one-click. I noticed I cannot update to .605 OTA. Any reason to unroot, load .605 then re-root in anyone's opinion?

.605 was a patch to apply fixes to the stock GB keyboard(stock 602) so if you dont need that then dont bother.

First, you get my vote for Username of the week.

Secondly, .605 was just a patch to fix reported stock keyboard issues, it isn't really an update to the system version. Explain a bit more where your device is currently at(system version, root/non root, etc) since you said you're trying to root again There is a one click root available for stock 602.

im pretty new to this so i might not understand some of the techy stuff youll tell me, but
system version says 2.3.240 MB810.verizon.en.US
android version is 2.2.1
baseban version BP_C_01.09.07P
Kernel version 2.6.32.9-g55626e1
w30471@il93lnxdroid08#1
i used z4 a few months ago along with superuser titanium backup and an overclock widget that i didnt really care for.
ive tried to sbf my phone using rsdlite and the sbf2.3.340 file and my phone wont download them because the"content is not supported on my phone."

Thanks for the tip. Dont need it as far as I can tell since I use Swiftkey X.

Yea those are Froyo specs. Just grab the 602 sbf, and one click root it.

I didn't know the 605 gave it a new look. I'm sure the rooting method will still work with it on 605, if not just re-do it and root 602. Either way you're getting there.
