Hello AC-Members,

in the nearer past i finally flashed an ASOP 4.3 ROM on my S4. It was my first Vanilla Android experience and at first I totally hated it.
Later I became used to it and it was acceptable. Although I'm quite satisfied right now there is no real feature keeping me from going back to TW.
I use Nova on both and with deactivating all the bloat on TW my S4 runs equally smooth. The point bringing me back to TW is warrenty and mainly better camera.

Now to my question.
How do I flash back? Is it enough to flash the Stock Firmware through CWM as I did it with the Costum ROM? And if not, how do I get the .tar file for flashing with ODIN?
Do I have to reflash the orignal recovery and kernel or are those included in the Stock Firmware?

Thanks a lot for your help,
have a nice day.

To go completely back to stock, ODIN. There are more steps involved in flashing a ROM (that isn't rooted but flashable), uninstalling root, getting rid of the unlock icon on boot and returning to stock recovery. ODIN does everything in 1 step. XDA will have everything you need. Just find the appropriate thread and it will give you all the steps as well as provide the files or links to the required files. For instance here is the one for AT&T version.

Just find the forum/thread for your specific carrier or model. Good luck.

Hello AC - Members,

I have a problem. I flashed the stock firmware (that should include kernel, shouldn't it?) and reroot to reset my flashcounter via triangle away.
I installed the .apk and gave it all access through supersu. If I try to reset the counter it tells my that t.a. wants to root into a special mode.

So far, so good. But although I am willing to accept this, while rebooting the device doesn't even boot into the download mode from where I can go to the "other recovery".
The device just boots normally. It is an international version so the bootloader should be unlocked.

I'm grateful for your help, have a nice day :)

I suggest posting your question in the developer's triangle away thread at xda developers site. I can confirm that TA works on T-Mobile version but not sure about i9505.

I have the T-Mobile variant and I am on stock firmware but still rooted. I can unroot but I want to reset the flash counter, I did this and when I booted into download mode it showed Binary was Samsung Official. However, when I checked the. However when I checked the count in TA it was still at 1 and Binary said Custom. How can I make it zero so I can unroot.
