Unroot help please!!

I rooted and flashed CyanogenMod 6.0 Stable release on my Evo i used unrevoked for the root and simple root to unlock the NAND and now I have to send it out for a warranty repair and I can't restore it to factory default, it seems like I've tried everything I tried multiple RUU's and they all came up with a USB connection error code either 171 or 170. PLEASE HELP ME I don't know what else to do

Flash the stock rom you were supposed to save with NAND backup before you flashed a new rom.
