Also when you do it you don't need to solder. If you leave a few inches of cord you can use a multi meter to find out which pins go to what wire. Then just connect the resistors by pretty much tieing the wires around the resistor legs.

Sorry but you can't flash a file in stock recovery. Also you can try asking in that thread for fh13. Or in the q and a section in the epic touch forums at xda. Maybe someone else can guide you better. You need download mode at this point.
