Hey guys. I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster. I've been very active on Crackberry the last few years, but FINALLY my work is starting to offer iPhone and Android in addition to the BlackBerry lineup. I will be getting my first Android device in January 2011 (as soon as my work offers the Androids). The one caveat is they are only going to add global Androids to the catalog. I want to be on Verizon, and we've been told they have 2 global Android devices coming out by the end of the year (one of which is the Droid Pro). My question is, what have yall heard about a global Android coming out that does NOT have a sliding keyboard. I would much rather have a Droid X, but obviously that's not global, and I haven't heard anything planned. What are the chances of a global Droid similar to the Droid X coming out soon? Or, someone is more than welcome to try to convince me that the slideout keyboard is worth it!

As of right now the only two that have leaked have physical keyboards hope one comes soon without it. But im looking forward to lte

will the lexikon/merge by htc be a world phone? i know the droid pro will be.

and supposedly htc will be releasing a 4.3" screen device on verizon basically an evo variant.

Unfortunately it looks like the HTC phones are going to be BINGtastic.

WOW! The Evo 4G is the sexiest device I've ever seen! That would be amazing if that came to Verizon as a world phone.

i really hope this will not be the case verizon said they were only going to do this with their multimedia phones not smartphones although the lexikon does seem to have it. i dont care if it is on there but they better give us the option i really hope they quit the bing crap and im surprised microsoft is pushing it so much especially with Windows phone 7 around the corner.
