According to the Phandroid folk, Moto is starting to do their soak test for the new updates. So for those of us that didn?t load the leaked version a while back, it should be coming OTA in a little bit.

By curiosity, does anyone know approximately for how long a soak test runs? Once finished, how long does it take to package the update and have it deployed?

I am actually wondering the same. I have very eagerly been waiting for an update that makes the battery life better. I would rather not meddle in flashing and all that.

Don't know where I read it, but if memory serves I think I read that they found an issue during the testing and pulled back the update to correct it.

If anyone has better info, I'd love to hear it too.

It would not surprise me if that "issue" was the exploit that gave us root.

People that have the leak have already reported that the blue tint issue has been resolved.
