Update corrupted phone

[AC Question]

Samsung Galaxy s7 on Sprint Network. Wife kept on receiving message about update. She kept on putting it off. Finally, she allowed it to update. After installing update, phone crashed. New SIM card, factory reset, phone does not work. Cannot receive calls. Cannot make calls. So, what do we do now? And, now my phone keeps on asking about doing the update. I keep putting it off, afraid the same will happen. This is not an sd card issue. While phone turns on, downloads things, can receive emails, it has no data or phone.

Welcome to Android Central! First, bring the phone to your local Sprint store and show them what their update did to it. Ask what they can do about it, since it should be their responsibility. If they can't help, then bring it to your local Best Buy and ask the Samsung rep to reinstall the firmware.
