Update Corrupted??

I was notified today that the update was available. Since I was connected to wifi, I decided to download it. After downloading I got the following message: "Update is corrupt. The downloaded system software update is corrupted. Do you want to download it again?" I said yes, and got the same message the second time. Any ideas what could be going on here? How could they be sending me a corrupt update?

What I think has happend is that you were on the verge of ATT's "only 10,000 updates per day", and since it couldnt finish the update it said corrupt. I would probably just do a soft reset (turn off the phone, remove the battery, wait 8 seconds, then continue...) to clear out any old cache, and try again tommorow. I should probably work then. If not, I would say email HTC.

I have the same issue , tried the soft reset as also instructed by HTC customer care. did not WORK! I dont think Im ever going to buy a HTC again , extremely unreliable.

I always find it funny when people have one problem with their phone and they're like "I'm never buying from that company again!"

If you're really that bent on getting the update to download try a factory reset. Just like when flashing a rom on a rooted phone, better to start with a clean slate.
