Update for galaxy gear 2 update

[Android Central Question]

Got notification today to update, I let it do the update, and have now lost all history for my Samsung health, I use this to monitor trends and share with my doctor, why has it gone away, need this to be functional. How do I get it back, even stopped at Verizon and they could not help me.

I moved this to the Gear S2 forum for more specific traffic. (I'm assuming you don't mean the old Gear 2, since I doubt that would've gotten an update this far out.)

there was an update, I got it too and it messed up samsung pay in the wearable app for me. When I started the wearable app, it said gear s2 update unless it was a hack. Not really sure what it was for. too much in a hurry to see what the op was talking about. I asked about it in the samsung forum and am waiting for a reply.

the gear s2 and I am assuming the op was talking about the s2 especially since I had one. but then I am really not sure what was updated, the wearable app or the watch itself. as I said, I forgot to pay attention. I do know the watch restarted.
