Update for Sideloding: Anyone got it yet?

Nope. I tapped on software update and it said im current and to check again in 17hrs 50mins

I don't have it either. I tried a software update on both my wife and my Arias and both just sat there grinding. Tried rebooting both and still just sat there grinding.

It wont be on the "Check for Updates" section.... it should automatically show up... I just checked under "Settings" then "Applications" then saw my "Allow Third Party Apps" check box was available.... Just downloaded swype finally and it works great! Now the Aria is a legitimate Droid phone

Ya ive been checkin the apps secton for that option. Captivate guys dnt even hav the option shown but it works for them so ive been tryin to install amazon app store to see if it just works lol.

Glad to see one aria get it so far. Hope i get it by friday

try powering off your phone and then back on. might work...or knock on some wood, or buy a 4-leaf clover off ebay... haha

I bought a batch of. 100 4leaf clovers on ebay and i still havent won the lotto so i doubt it would work here

That's the weirdest thing I've seen in awhile. I figured the update would just be to the Settings app (the option just needed to be shown, it wasn't blocked in any other way), and I guess yall got that. I don't understand why the Cappy didn't get it that way.

You know, its crap like this which makes me want to ditch my Aria for an iPhone. AT&T promises to push out an OTA, but it never seems to happen. Anybody check HTC's site to see if its there and we have to do a total reinstall to get it, like we've had to do with all the other updates?

Its an att update, not htc. Thers nothin bout this on htc site. Att system to oush this was apparently down so hopefully next week we get it. Att did say it could take a few weeks in the beginning.
