My galaxy s5 is from at&t g900a and is unlocked with metro. I am on 4.4.2 and want to update to 5.0. I have found the ota file to update via external sd for 5.0 but i need to be on 4.4.4, does anyone have the rom file for 4.4.4 or anyway for me to update to 4.4.4, or any advice to get it updated? I do not want to root either. Thanks! Please help i really want the update

Exactly on the above. I gave my mom my AT&T S4 for straight talk. The update looks for the model number and an active SIM.

Do you know how much a cheap prepaid sim card would cost just to update it

And don't forget you can take a Best Buy to Best Buy Samsung Experience Counter and get it updated for free.

I'm on AT&T and lollipop works great for me. I believe my battery life has increased since the switch from kit kat. No regrets here.

5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 have a memory leak. If you're the kind who doesn't restart the phone for weeks at a time, they'll give you a problem. (It was fixed in 5.1.) If you restart regularly, the AT&T S5 Lollipop seems to be fairly stable.

It's probably mentioned on the website--go to bestbuy.com and look up your nearest location.

I think all Best Buy stores have this now. I always update there instead of at home, much quicker.

I find Best Buy the easiest way to upgrade. I give them my phone and shop while they are upgrading it.
