Update is making things much slower for me!

The Froyo update for my phone seems that it has slowed my phone very much. My SMS messaging is taking like 6 seconds to respond to commands and my internet browser is very very choppy..Is anyone on the same boat?

Nope. Everything on my Evo is either the same or faster. I don't like the way the new typing area looks for messaging, but it isn't slower.

Root and install cyanogen with froyo. Much simpler + much much faster.

yes if they know about it lol. or atleast if they find out its the cause of your phone being bricked yes lol

To help with slowness in the browser, click menu with browser on, then hit settings. Scroll down to Plug-in's and change it to "on demand". Helped for me
